Crawfordsville – Richard “Dick” Grimes, 58, died at 2:35 a.m. Wednesday in Culver Hospital. Born March 31, 1934 in Montgomery County he was a 1953 graduate of New Market High School. Mr. Grimes was a member of International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 841. He worked for Fauber Construction Co. for 21 years before retiring in 1988. His marriage was to Della Hobbs who preceded him in death in 1987. Surviving are two sisters, Martha Brown of Crawfordsville and Betty Priebe of Ocala, Fla. Visitation 4-8 p.m. today at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home Crawfordsville. Service there 2 p.m. Saturday. Interment Odd Fellows Cemetery, Darlington. – kbz
